  2. Wow Meenal, this is good. It was Onam on Monday. Its our culture to have the flower rangoli. My Aunt did it late Sunday night. This is far better. I could have given you the contract. :). You would have got paid for this lovely hobby.
The Tiles in the Background are Mosaic. Marble tiles with some bright light would have added to the glamour.

  4. Wow!!! Am amazed!!! You should publish this in National Geography or something........"The Story of a Rangoli"...picture01 represents at 00:00Hrs from making......picture02 represents at 04:00Hrs from making......picture03 represents at 08:00Hrs from making......picture04 represents at 012:00Hrs from making......and finally no picture as the Rangoli (flowers) is dead....so lets pause for 1 minute as a token of sacrifice so many plants have given by getting amputated...and so many bees who were unable to enjoy the pollination it could have given.....alrite .....alrite.....let me pause the environmentalist in me and play the imagineer in me....:D ....I liked the design pattern...its very much pleasing with good flower variety combination....also the diya in between was good...maybe next time u can use single mini diyas on the leaf to make it more pleasing (just a thought)......and I surely agree with Girish.......a lighter background would have definitely made it more pleasing (aka highlighted its beauty more)....maybe next time you may set the background color using rangoli powder or paint using rice powder (bengalis use this)....

Honestly I have never seen rangoli using flowers....and looking at urs....it really is pleasing....more natural........and bio-degradable.....hence environment friendly :D ...also if this is used more often in houses then more plants will be grown to meet demand :D and less use of artificial rangoli powder (which maynot be environment friendly) :D
